The Faked Male Orgasm - A Rare and Mysterious Phenomenon

The Faked Male Orgasm - A Rare and Mysterious Phenomenon

Why you might well ask, would a bloke even want to fake his orgasm? An act of the utmost intimate, primal selfish deception surely. A big fat lie perpetrated on a poor unsuspecting babe for what possible reason? And can it even happen that deep into his work, as passion rises could a man even pretend to stop or even want to stop the bio-mechanics of the male orgasm at a time of his own choosing.

To understand the male orgasm let us look to sexual health as to the steps that lead a man to a successful orgasm:

  1. Arousal: The man perceives something or someone that prompts sexual interest. That perception prompts the brain to send a signal down the spinal cord to the sex organs, causing an erection. The penis becomes erect when blood fills spongy tissue inside its shaft, brought by arteries that have expanded to allow blood to race in at up to 50 times its normal speed. The veins in the penis that normally drain blood out squeeze shut so that more blood remains inside, producing a firm erection. The scrotum pulls toward the body, and muscles throughout the body increase in tension.
  2. Plateau: The male body prepares for orgasm in this phase, which can last from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Muscle tension increases even more and involuntary body movements, particularly in the pelvis, begin to take over. The man’s heart rate increases to between 150 and 175 beats per minute, says Dr. Ingber. A clear fluid may begin to flow from the urethra. This pre-ejaculatory fluid is meant to change the pH balance of the urethra, to improve the chances of sperm survival.
  3. Orgasm: The orgasm itself occurs in two phases, emission and ejaculation. In emission, the man reaches ejaculatory inevitability, the “point of no return.” Semen is deposited near the top of the urethra, ready for ejaculation. Ejaculation occurs in a series of rapid-fire contractions of the penile muscles and around the base of the anus. Involuntary pelvic thrusting may also occur. The nerves causing the muscle contractions send messages of pleasure to the man’s brain.
  4. Resolution and Refraction: After ejaculation, the penis begins to lose its erection. About half of the erection is lost immediately, and the rest fades soon after. Muscle tension fades, and the man may feel relaxed or drowsy, according to Ingber. Men usually must undergo a refractory period, or recovery phase, during which they cannot achieve another erection. This period is variable in men, says Ingber. In an 18-year-old, this is typically less than 15 minutes. In elderly men, it can be up to 10 to 20 hours. The average refractory period is about half an hour. Men differ from women in that men usually are satiated after one orgasm. Women can experience more than one orgasm with no loss of sexual arousal, and do not have to undergo a refractory period.

Ok that’s what normally happens, but I can assure you that’s not what needs to happen. A very very close friend of mine, though his 30s and 40s played the field. His client base was primarily women, and he was not in bad shape, and while not a 10 his rugged good looks attracted his fair share of willing sexual partners not fazed by his marital status or kids. This man, let’s call him George, was at one time in his sexual career bedding three women at the same time, although sadly not at the same exact time.

He realised in time that if he followed the everydayhealth.com recipe for sexual performance he might only properly entertain one of his girlfriends or at most two on any given day of his cheating conniving existence. So, being a cheat anyway he extended the dishonesty to include FMO – the faked male orgasm.

He explained the process to me, and this was pre the little blue pill. He would be with partner one, enjoying the fruits of their labour in the sweaty bedsheets of a cheap but nicely located motel (location location location). After an appropriate time of pushing the argument, feeling the plateau coming around the mountain when she comes, he would simply pretend to come with extremely exquisite timing. You see the pretence, including the usual mad thrusting and grunts of satisfaction, would not only fool her but seemed to fool his own physiology, to trick his brain into still enjoying a surge of emotion and pleasure without letting go the vital fluids. He would then engage in the famous 5-play of soft caresses and murmured love talk as both he and she recovered their breaths, and his cock slowly deflated. He needed to be careful at this moment because any more thrusting, no matter how gentle, would awake the mighty beast down below and prove the lie.

Not one of his lovers over the years of the male faked orgasm ever caught on, or if they did, they never complained at least to him about it. See what the fake meant was that after a suitable break in the primal act, he could go again at a moment’s notice if required. Or he could perform with another of his lovers a few hours later. Just a quick qualification as while the keen amateurs never caught on, the professional working girls that he chanced to engage with over the years always for some reason, checked the condom for proof. An indication, perhaps that a lot more men than George imagined had also perfected the FMO.

The faking avoided the Resolution and Refraction phase of the orgasm. He was in a state of never feeling sated and therefore never sleepDiscover the surprising truth about the faked male orgasm—why some men do it, how it works, and what it says about sex, stamina, and sneaky George.y. The bonus was that at the time he chose to orgasm, the prior deprivation meant the final act of orgasm was freeking earth shaking for him.

While his act of faking an orgasm, as of course with the FWO (faked woman orgasm), is by definition deceptive, he didn’t see it as disrespectful to his partners because they did seem to enjoy the sex. In fact, his polygamous relationships lasted for years with affection being the common denominator in the varied relationships.

So there you have it a confession, well from that bastard George at least. I’m sure the FMO is rare, and I would not want to be a fly on the bedroom ceiling if a babe ever discovered the truth that her apparently enthusiastic lover had just faked the expected conclusion of their union.

“A really interesting look at a side of sexual dynamics that rarely gets discussed. Wild story! It’s interesting how rarely male performance pressure is talked about compared to women's experiences. While 'George’s' approach definitely leans on deception, it really highlights how performance expectations and fatigue affect dynamics in the bedroom. Great food for thought.”

“Really interesting article! People often assume that only women fake orgasms, so it’s refreshing to see attention given to the fact that men can experience performance anxiety, emotional pressure, or simply want to avoid hurting their partner’s feelings too. It reminds us that intimacy is about communication and mutual understanding, not just meeting expectations. Thanks for shedding light on a topic that isn’t discussed very often.

“It’s definitely a nuanced topic, but honestly, pulling this off consistently seems like it would be incredibly difficult. Between empty condoms and the physical realities of ejaculation, I'd bet a few of his partners chose to be polite rather than oblivious! Still, it's a great reminder that intimacy isn't just a pass-or-fail event based on a single outcome—connection and honesty matter a lot more.”

“One thing this article touches on that resonates with me is that people often underestimate how much performance exists in intimate situations.

There can be a lot of pressure around expectations, timing, confidence, and wanting the other person to have a positive experience. As a result, people sometimes assume they know exactly what's happening, when the reality can be more nuanced.

What stood out to me most was the reminder that intimacy isn't always measured by a single outcome. Good connection, communication, and mutual enjoyment are often far more important than treating sex like a pass-or-fail event.

An interesting perspective on a topic that probably isn't discussed as openly as it could be.”

“That's a really good point. Honestly, I think this is a conversation we need to have more often as a society—because it's something that's actively happening and likely has been for years. The only difference is that it's almost always framed as something the woman is doing. I'd guess it's even more common now than it used to be. I find it just as intriguing as it is interesting. Personally, I think that when sex becomes a performanc, regardless of whether it's the man or the woman putting on the show, that's where things get problematic. It sets both people up for a disappointing sexual experience”

“Honestly, I’ve seen a few men fake orgasms before too, and it always made me wonder why men would even bother. It's pretty obvious when the condom is empty. People tend to assume it’s only women who do it, but I think men can feel pressure to perform, to last longer, or to avoid awkward conversations. It’s definitely more common than most people realise.”

“This is very reading this blog and imagining everyone go no men don’t do that surely?.
I have seen this happen and with a few different  scenarios.
1. The sex has been going on for so long with many positions and vigorous speed then he fakes the orgasm. I think he’s either admitted defeat and wants us to feel like our efforts weren’t wasted or he’s putting us out of our misery of thinking shit what can I do to get him there now? Lol

2. The guilty mind.
He’s come is and found the lady that’s going fulfill his needs and desires, that bit of something he’s always wanted to try but never had the chance.
Then In the middle of the act you see the switch go off is his head, guilt flashes across his face then he fakes an orgasm leaps off the bed thanks you for your time and runs out the door.

There are millions of reasons why both men and women fake orgasms and this sometimes leaves us confused, that’s okay.
But I do this discussing this strange phenomenon can also be helpful.

“Very interesting! Honestly, I think that this is a conversation that the population needs to have more of because this is something actively happening and has probably been for years now…only, it’s always framed as an act on the women’s part. I imagine it’s more prevalent now than in the past! I find it intriguing and interesting in equal measure. My take, when sex is a performance (from either the man or the woman), it’s problematic and only sets both of you up to fail in your sexual experience. ”

“I've been asked on several occasions if I came (thought only women were asked this) due to an often empty condom.
A vasectomy reduced the amount ejaculate and later a prostrate resection reduced it to mostly nothing. Sensations are a bit different but still enjoyable.”

“That little blue pill and bloody Kamagra. It makes it so much harder for the dude to come, if at all.... Sometimes, when both parties are just done and knackered, it's time to tap out and just call it done. Friction burn and exhaustion aren't fun for anyone.

It doesn't mean that it wasn't fun, and enough memories were made for them to take home and self-pleasure themselves to achieve an orgasm. Sometimes, it just unfolds that way.”

“A very intriguing read, Mrs Langtrees. I have honestly always wondered whether some men do this and whether it is actually possible to pull off, so this was a fascinating perspective.

What made it especially interesting was that it touched on something people rarely talk about openly. There is so much discussion around women faking orgasm, but far less curiosity about whether men might also perform or manage the moment differently for their own reasons. That’s what made this feel both surprising and believable.

It was also such a classic mix of humour, psychology, and cheeky storytelling. George may not be the hero of the piece, but he certainly makes for an entertaining case study. A very memorable article and definitely one that gets people thinking.

“That is really Interesting— and honestly, probably less rare than people think. Some studies suggest men do fake orgasms too, usually because of performance pressure, fatigue, or just wanting to end things without awkwardness. It just isn’t talked about as much. The idea of “tricking the body” is a bit questionable though. While orgasm and ejaculation aren’t perfectly the same, they’re usually closely linked, so pulling this off consistently would take real control. What stands out more is the psychology — faking often points to communication gaps rather than skill. If one person is pretending, it makes you wonder how honest the connection really is. Thoughts?”

“This blog presents a thoughtful exploration of a rarely addressed topic. The integration of physiological insights with narrative elements makes it both engaging and informative. However, it also invites important ethical considerations regarding honesty and intimacy. Including scientific evidence or expert perspectives would enhance the discussion further, yet the narrative adeptly stimulates curiosity and fosters meaningful conversation about male sexuality and performance.”

“I have had male friends tell me that on occassion with a new, or newish partner that they just weren't feeling the heat with they have faked, much like your mate George.  I think it sounds like George had a time managment problem leading to a bedroom stage managment crisis.  ”

“Oh, George… the stamina, the strategy, the sheer audacity! Who knew the male orgasm could be weaponised with such silky deception? This confession reads like erotica wrapped in a psychological thriller—equally hot and hilarious. That perfectly timed moan, the masterful retreat before the point of no return... It’s sex as performance art, with a twist of survival instinct. While FMO might be rare, it’s not without its erotic brilliance. George didn’t just fake it—he finessed it. Makes you wonder how many “oh, baby”s out there were just clever curtain calls—deliciously provocative read—left me aroused and suspicious.”

“We need to understand the difference between a real male orgasm and a fake orgasm. Real orgasm mainly comprises four phases. Arousal, Plateau, Orgasm, Resolution, and Refraction are the stages. But in a fake male orgasm, men skip the last phase, which is Resolution and Refraction. Due to that, they never feel sleepy, and fully satisfied, and can continue with several partners at the same time.”

“One should not feel guilty about false orgasms, under certain conditions, it could be what we desire or that we are not ready to cease. However, if pretending to feel pleasure is a frequent occurrence, resulting in unenjoyable coupled sex, and actual orgasms are what we truly want.”

“The phenomenon of faking a male orgasm, while less commonly discussed, involves psychological factors and social pressures that can lead individuals to simulate climax for various reasons. I'm concerned about the implications of fake experiences in intimacy, as they can lead to misunderstandings and emotional disconnect.”

“Not sure this would fly with me, you would feel the throbbing (with ejaculation) so that would be the first give-away, next would be the lack of sperm, either in a condom or in the woman (another obvious one) and finally, albeit less obvious, when a man comes the veins in his neck a more visible - well that's from my observations. Maybe the chicks were being either greedy (because lets face it ... nowadays its all about the womans orgasm) or sympathetic and elected not to raise the issue (pun intended).”
